Williams played 36 minutes, contributing 19 points (7-17 FG, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.
This performance marks a career high for the second-year wing. He has reached double figures in scoring for five consecutive games.
During this five-game stretch, Williams is averaging 13.4 points, 5.2 boards, 4.8 assists and 1.0 steals, while playing 38.0 minutes.
Increased Role Due to Injuries
Williams is seeing a larger workload with the Jazz currently shorthanded. Lauri Markkanen is still sidelined with a hip injury.
Ace Bailey also exited Friday’s game early because of concussion symptoms.
In the short term, Williams is likely to continue being relied upon heavily.
