Caminero’s World Baseball Classic Impact
Caminero hit his first home run of the tournament against Nicaragua, a line-drive to right-center field. The hit, which broke a 3-3 tie, had an exit velocity of 116.9 mph. Caminero’s emotional celebration included shouting and, upon reaching the dugout, shedding tears of joy.
