Tommy Fleetwood: Clothing-Free Agent Status and Justin Thomas

Tommy Fleetwood made news at the start of the year following his split with Nike after over a decade. Two-time Major winner Justin Thomas has now become a clothing-free agent.

Justin Thomas Joins Fleetwood as Clothing-Free Agent

Thomas, who returned to competitive action at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, was seen without his Greyson Clothiers apparel. He had signed with the company in 2022. Thomas missed the cut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational after shooting back-to-back 79s.

Thomas participated in a pre-tournament press conference at The Players Championship on Monday, where he discussed his apparel situation. He stated, “I’m wearing whatever I want every day I wake up. It’s kind of nice.”

Thomas added that he and other players have been joking about the situation. They have been looking at what other players are wearing and checking the tags.

Thomas Enjoys Newfound Freedom

Thomas said it was “refreshing” to have the freedom to choose his own clothes. He noted that it is “harder” to script what to wear for tournament week.

He enjoys fashion and putting together outfits. Thomas said he is putting more thought into what he wears.

The Players Championship

Thomas claimed The Players Championship back in 2021.

It’s currently unclear if Thomas will sign a new apparel deal in the near future.
