Kyle Larson to Replace Alex Bowman in No. 88 at Nashville

Kyle Larson is set to compete in two races at Nashville Superspeedway.

Larson will drive the No. 88 car for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series race at Nashville on Saturday night, according to the entry list.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver replaces Alex Bowman, who was initially slated to drive the JR Motorsports entry.

Bowman’s Absence

Bowman was also scheduled to race the No. 88 car at Darlington Raceway, but vertigo sidelined him from the event.

Reasons for Bowman not driving the entry were not given.

It is fair to assume that his focus remains on the Cup Series and his personal life.

Larson Aims to Continue JR Motorsports’ Success

Larson hopes to continue JR Motorsports’ incredible run of races in the O’Reilly Series.

JR Motorsports is coming off a win at Charlotte Motor Speedway after Ross Chastain won a rain-shortened event.

Now, Larson hopes to secure another victory for the organisation in 2026.

Larson’s participation means a change to the original plans, with Bowman stepping aside for the Nashville race.
