LeBron James Misses Third Game: Lakers Schedule Update

LeBron James was absent from the Lakers’ 120-106 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

The Lakers star remained out due to left foot arthritis and a right hip contusion.

James’ Injury Status and Lakers’ Preparation

Prior to the game, James went through his pregame shooting routine at Crypto.com Arena before the Lakers’ team walk-through.

Coach JJ Redick stated that James determined he needed more time to get treatment on his left foot before playing in a game.

This marks James’ third consecutive missed game.

The 23-year veteran has not been sidelined this long since he missed the first 14 games of the season with sciatica in his lower back and down his right leg.

Day-to-Day and Upcoming Fixture

Redick said James is considered day to day going forward.

The Lakers’ next game is Thursday at home against the Chicago Bulls.

Hachimura Starts, Other Absences

Rui Hachimura started in James’ place for the Lakers.

The Lakers were also without both of their backup big men against Minnesota.

Maxi Kleber (lumbar back strain) and Jaxson Hayes (back soreness) were late scratches.
