The two-time league MVP has given fans reason to believe he could be back on the field sooner than expected. Mahomes posted multiple in-game photos to his Instagram account on Sunday. The caption was simply a clock emoji.
The lack of detail has left his millions of followers to speculate. Mahomes suffered a torn ACL and LCL on December 14, 2025, during the Chiefs’ Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Recovery Ahead of Schedule
Mahomes is currently undergoing rehabilitation. He is reportedly ahead of schedule with his recovery.
