Jannik Sinner is set to compete against Joao Fonseca at Indian Wells. The match is scheduled for two in the morning on Wednesday. This will be the first time Sinner and Fonseca have played each other. Fonseca is known in Brazil as “Sinnerzinho”, because his style is similar to Sinner’s.
Paolini to Maintain Italian Presence
Jasmine Paolini is the only Italian player left in the women’s draw. She is set to face Talia Gibson. Paolini’s match is scheduled for around 9pm. This is the third consecutive time that Paolini has reached the round of 16 at the tournament.

The day’s play in the combined 1000 event begins with Aryna Sabalenka against Naomi Osaka at 7pm. Sascha Zverev will then play Frances Tiafoe at 9pm.
