AEW’s Double or Nothing 2026 delivered a night of high-stakes action, showcasing grudge matches and title bouts. The event, one of AEW’s flagship PPVs, featured several special stipulations and kept fans on the edge of their seats.
Death Riders Claim Victory
Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia clashed with Hook, Anthony Bowens and Katsuyori Shibata. The match was fast-paced, with all six men getting time in the ring. Shibata felt like he spent more time in the ring than anyone. The Death Riders secured the win when Castagnoli pinned Bowens.
Boom and Doom and Conglomeration Triumph
A 10-man tag match saw Big Boom AJ, QT Marshall, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Mark Briscoe facing Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Shawn Dean, Carlie Bravo and Anthony Ogogo. The bout included comedy, particularly from the Costco guys. A triple powerbomb led to AJ getting the pin for his team. Eddie Kingston and Ortiz prevented a post-match attack. This bout felt like filler.
Cage and Copeland Survive ‘I Quit’ Challenge
The first bout on the main card was an I Quit match for the men’s tag titles. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defended their belts against Christian Cage and Adam Copeland. With no tags and no rules, the match quickly devolved into a brawl. The crowd immediately started chanting for tables.
Belts, barbed wire, chairs and ladders were all used. Neither team was willing to quit easily. The match was comprised of spots and sequences instead of one cohesive pattern. When Stokely got involved, Beth Phoenix came out.
Divine Dominion Prevails
The pre-show featured Divine Dominion, consisting of Lena Kross and Megan Bayne, against Viva Van and Zayda Steel. Van and Steel provided a challenge, but were ultimately defeated with 15 seconds left on the clock. Kross and Bayne took out Christopher Daniels before Tay Melo and Anna Jay came out with weapons to clear the ring.
The event showcased a mix of tag team action and intense rivalries, setting the stage for future storylines in AEW.
