Lynx Face Sky in Interconference Clash Amid Injury Concerns

The Minnesota Lynx are set to face the Chicago Sky in an interconference match. Minnesota comes into the game with a 3-2 record after a dominant victory over the Toronto Tempo. Chicago also holds a 3-2 record, but are coming off a loss to the Dallas Wings.

Lynx Injury Report: Collier Sidelined

Minnesota’s injury report lists four players, including star forward Napheesa Collier. Collier has been ruled out due to a left ankle injury. Dorka Juhasz is also out with a right mid-foot sprain and is expected to miss at least two more weeks. Anastasiia Olairi Kosu has been ruled out due to a concussion. Emma Cechova will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL.

Sky’s Injury Concerns: Stevens Questionable

The Sky also have multiple players on their injury report, including Azura Stevens and DiJonai Carrington. Stevens is listed as questionable due to a left knee injury. There is a chance she could make her season debut.

Carrington has been ruled out as she continues to recover from left foot surgery. Courtney Vandersloot has also been ruled out as she continues to recover from ACL surgery. Rickea Jackson will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL.

In Chicago’s loss to the Dallas Wings, Kamilla Cardoso led the way with 24 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Natasha Cloud recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
