Josh Allen Praises New Teammate DJ Moore’s Unique Abilities

Josh Allen has been giving his assessment of new Buffalo Bills wide receiver, DJ Moore.

Moore’s move to the Bills comes after the Chicago Bears traded him. The wide receiver is now catching passes from Allen instead of Caleb Williams.

Allen Impressed by Moore’s Body Control and Speed

Allen spoke to the media about playing with Moore. He highlighted what he has observed from the veteran wide receiver so far.

“He’s able to contort his body in different ways that I don’t think I’ve ever seen, and he’s not a small guy,” Allen said via The Buffalo News’ Lance Lysowski. “He’s faster than you think, and he just kind of glides on people.”

Moore’s Time with the Bears

Moore had over 1,300 yards in his first season with the Bears in 2023. However, there was a noticeable drop in his play once Williams became the starting quarterback.

Despite the stats dipping dramatically, Moore remained a critical piece to the offence.

Last year, Moore had 682 yards and six touchdowns. He also made some of the biggest plays of the season, including scoring game-winning touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers twice.

Moore’s Leadership and Toughness

Moore was also a great leader on the team. Despite being banged up all year, he played all 17 games and proved his toughness.

Moore has speed and was considered a deep threat in the Bears’ offence over the years.

Once Luther Burden came into the picture, the Bears had a younger and cheaper deep threat they could develop. This made Moore expendable.

Bears Move Forward with Young Receivers

The Bears will miss having Moore on the team. However, they have great young talent at receiver with Burden and Rome Odunze.

The Bears will be hoping their young receivers continue to develop, while the Bills will be looking to integrate Moore into their offence.
