Neymar Jr. has been included in the Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Carlo Ancelotti announced the 26-player squad this Monday. The World Cup will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada between June and July.
Ancelotti Names His Squad
The announcement was made by the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) at the Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro. CNN Brasil broadcast the event live.
The big surprise in the list is the confirmation of Neymar Jr. from Santos. Also included are attackers Rayan and Endrick, and goalkeeper Weverton from Grêmio.
Pre-tournament Preparations
Following the announcement, the Brazil squad will begin to assemble at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis, next week.
Before travelling to the USA, Brazil will play a friendly match against Panama at the Maracanã on the 31st.
