Giants Sign Isaiah Likely and Jordan Stout, Reuniting with Harbaugh

The New York Giants have agreed to a three-year deal with tight end Isaiah Likely, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The move reunites Likely with head coach John Harbaugh.

Likely’s Recent Performance

Likely, aged 25, is considered a talented tight end. However, he is coming off a season that saw career lows in receptions (27), receiving yards (307) and touchdowns (one) after missing the first three games with a small fracture in his right foot. Likely had some critical ball-security mishaps, including fumbling just before the end zone in a 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and having the ball punched out in the end zone in a 27-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 2024, when Mark Andrews was sidelined for the final six games, Likely led the Ravens with 322 yards receiving and five touchdown catches, showing flashes of being a playmaker.

Despite talks over the past year, the Ravens were unable to reach a contract extension with Likely. After the Ravens signed Andrews to a three-year, $39.2 million contract in December, Likely was expected to depart Baltimore.

  • A fourth-round pick by the Ravens in the 2022 draft.
  • Likely has a total of 135 catches for 1,568 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Stout Joins Giants, Becomes Highest-Paid Punter

Ravens free-agent punter Jordan Stout also reached an agreement with the Giants on Monday. The three-year, $12.3 million deal makes him the NFL’s highest-paid punter. Stout will also reunite with Harbaugh, per ESPN sources.

Edmunds Adds Veteran Presence

The Giants are also signing LB Tremaine Edmunds. Recently released by the Chicago Bears, he adds a veteran presence to the middle of their defense. The deal is for three years at $36M with 23.7M guaranteed, per the NFL Network.

ESPN’s Jamison Hensley contributed to this report.
