Bangladesh have been dealt an injury blow before the second Test against Pakistan.
Opener Shadman Islam is ruled out after sustaining a chest injury during the opening Test in Mirpur.

National Team Physio Bayjedul Islam Khan confirmed that the batter suffered a traumatic chest contusion after taking a blow while attempting a catch.
He will miss the second and final Test of the series beginning on May 16 in Sylhet.
Zakir Hasan Returns to the Squad
Bangladesh have named fellow left-hander Zakir Hasan as his replacement in the squad.
Zakir last featured in a Test in November 2024.
Zakir notably became the first Bangladesh opener to score a century on Test debut when he achieved the feat against India in 2022.
