The No. 16 Oregon Ducks are battling the No. 17 USC Trojans in a three-game home series at PK Park. The series is a crucial one for the Ducks. A higher seeding for the Big Ten Conference tournament is on the line. The Ducks also have a chance to host a regional series for the NCAA tournament.
Extra Innings as Trojans Take the Lead
Cadena homered to right field, putting the Trojans ahead. Laya struggled to catch the ball in the backfield. Adam Troy took over on the mound for USC after Johnson’s outing.

Ducks Tie the Game
Oregon scored on the first pitch of an inning with Lauaki hitting a backside bomb to the right side of the diamond. The home run sent Lauaki sailing through to home. The score was tied at one a piece.
USC made changes, swapping out their left fielder and catcher before the inning started.

Bradley struck out Lopez. Takeuchi walked, loading the bases as Cadena reached second and Urbon advanced to third. Cadena was hit by a pitch, moving him to the bases. Urbon had previously singled to third base and advanced to second after Lopez grounded out.
