Virat Kohli is back in action for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur, on Sunday evening.
Kohli’s Form Coming Into The Match
Kohli kicked off the new season with an unbeaten match-winning knock of 69 runs as RCB decimated SRH in the season opener. He made quality starts against CSK and RR in their next two games, but failed to convert the starts into big totals.
Earlier against GT, Kohli scored 81 runs in 44 balls as RCB comfortably chased down 206 runs. Whereas, against Delhi Capitals, Kohli remained unbeaten at 23 of 15 balls as RCB chased down a target of 76 runs by the seventh over.
Recent Struggles
In his last two matches, Kohli was sent back for back-to-back ducks.
