Rennes emerged victorious in a closely contested match against Paris FC, securing a 2-1 win. The Ligue 1 encounter was filled with second-half drama, including missed attempts and late free kicks.
Late Drama Defines Rennes’ Victory
The second half saw both teams battling intensely. Luca Koleosho of Paris FC won a free kick in the defensive half, while Alidu Seidu earned one for Rennes in their own half. Koleosho was a persistent threat, drawing fouls and creating opportunities for Paris FC.
Ciro Immobile, despite missing a close-range shot, found himself in the referee’s book, receiving a yellow card for a bad foul. Mahdi Camara of Rennes was on the receiving end of Immobile’s foul, winning a free kick in the attacking half for his side.

Substitutions and Missed Chances
Both managers made substitutions to inject fresh energy into their teams. Rennes brought on Djaoui Cissé to replace Estéban Lepaul. Paris FC introduced Vincent Marchetti in place of Pierre Lees-Melou.
Rennes also had their share of missed opportunities. Quentin Merlin’s free kick from outside the box went too high. Arnaud Nordin’s shot, assisted by Breel Embolo, also failed to hit the target.
