Celtics Suffer Game 6 Defeat, Forcing Series Decider in Boston

The Boston Celtics suffered a 106-93 defeat against the Philadelphia 76ers, forcing a Game 7. The Sixers outclassed the Celtics on Thursday night, setting up a do-or-die game back in Boston.

Sixers Dominate Game 6

Boston struggled to find any offensive rhythm. Jaylen Brown led the team with 18 points but also had five turnovers and four fouls, three of which occurred in the first half. Jayson Tatum scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but he didn’t feature in the fourth quarter.

Maxey and George Lead Philadelphia

Tyrese Maxey led the way for the Sixers with 30 points. Paul George contributed 23 points, shooting 5-9 from 3-point range. Joel Embiid nearly achieved a triple-double, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

Game 7 Set for Boston

Game 7 is scheduled for Saturday at TD Garden. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
