Jafel Filho (17-4) is coming off a first-round kimura submission victory over Clayton Carpenter. Since joining the UFC in 2022, Filho is 3-2. He has secured all three of his UFC wins via submission. His submission wins include victories over Ode’ Osbourne and Daniel Barez, adding to his eleven submission victories overall.
Filho’s only defeats in the promotion have been against Muhammad Mokaev and Allan Nascimento. Both Mokaev and Nascimento are known as excellent grapplers.
Durden Seeks to Avoid Fifth Consecutive Loss
Cody Durden (17-10-1) is potentially facing his fifth consecutive loss. A defeat could mean the end of his UFC career. Durden is 1-6 dating back to his last win streak in 2023. He has been finished in four of those defeats.
Durden is battle-tested at 125 pounds. However, his durability has suffered in recent years.
