Gunther believes he can end Brock Lesnar’s WWE career.
In an interview, Gunther was asked which wrestler’s career is next on his kill list, after he sent Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles into retirement over the last year.
Gunther’s Confidence
Gunther stated he doesn’t have a list, but he is good at observing and taking advantage of opportunities. When Brock Lesnar’s name was mentioned, Gunther said he knows he can end Lesnar’s WWE career.
When asked if he thought he could end Lesnar’s career, Gunther responded, “No, I can do it.” He added, “But first thing’s first. Let’s see. I don’t know where Brock is…he’s [not] around that much. And you don’t really hear or see much, so, I got to do my intel.”
Heyman’s Favor
Gunther hinted that Paul Heyman may owe him a favour. “Maybe a guy owes me that knows what his plans are. I’m just saying maybe…I don’t know,” Gunther stated.
Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar’s long-time advocate, apparently owes Gunther a favour for solving his Seth Rollins problem at WrestleMania 42. Gunther seems to be observing the landscape and sees an opportunity to end Lesnar’s career, now that Paul owes him.
Potential Showdown
The question is raised whether Gunther will end Brock Lesnar’s WWE career, perhaps at SummerSlam Minnesota.
Another question posed is if this career killer angle will be worth it if it leads to no more Polish Joe in WWE.
