Preciado’s Injury Woes

Preciado reported feeling pain during training on Tuesday. Subsequent examinations confirmed an oedema in his left thigh. He is currently undergoing physiotherapy.

Preciado had been vying with Natanael for a starting place in the team. He was likely to have started the match against Juventud. Alan Franco, an Ecuadorian midfielder who plays in that position for his national team, has been named in his place.
