Fernandez Urges Moore to Stay at Rangers After Falkirk Victory

Rangers’ squad are buoyant following their comeback 6-3 win away at Falkirk.

Danny Rohl’s side overturned a two-goal deficit. Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski both scored twice, with Tochi Chukwuani and Nicolas Raskin also finding the net.

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Mikey Moore was substituted at the end of the first half, having been an injury doubt before the game.

The win takes Rangers to within a point of Hearts at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

Fernandez’s Instagram Plea

Emmanuel Fernandez posted on Instagram after the game, thanking the travelling support. He captioned the post: “What a game. Your support kept us in it,” accompanied by blue heart emojis.

Moore responded to the post, commenting, “some player,” which prompted a reply from Fernandez. Fernandez responded to Moore’s comment with: “Stay x.”

Rangers fans are keen for Moore to return next season, either on loan or permanently. Fernandez has made it clear he wants to play alongside Moore again next term.

Moore’s Future at Ibrox

Keith Wyness stated back in February that Rangers have “no chance” of signing Moore permanently this summer, but that may no longer be the case.

Moore’s parent club, Tottenham Hotspur, are currently inside the Premier League relegation zone. Relegation to the Championship could change things for the North Londoners, and it is potentially the best chance Rangers have of striking another deal for him.

Spurs’ finances are expected to be significantly impacted if they are relegated. They could decide to cash in on youngsters like Moore as a result.
