Second Round Details

Garcia posted a 3-over 75 in the second round, placing him at 3 over for the tournament. He was at 1 over before a double bogey after an errant drive on the par-4 17th.

The 2017 Masters champion finished inside the cut line. This marks only the second time in eight tries since his victory that he will make the weekend.

Opening Round Performance

Garcia delivered the best round among the LIV Golf contingent. He posted an even-par 72 with steady play and limited damage.

He made three birdies and three bogeys overall. On the front nine, he recorded two birdies and one bogey for a 35 (-1), followed by one birdie and two bogeys on the back for a 37 (+1).
