Gonçalves Absence: Al-Fayha Clash Amid Al-Ahli’s League Pursuit

Al-Ahli Jeddah’s Matheus Gonçalves is set to miss the Saudi Roshen League match against Al-Fayha.

The match, brought forward from the 29th round, will be held at the Al-Majma’ah Sports City Stadium.

Despite not being injured or suspended, Gonçalves has been excluded from the squad by German coach Matthias Jaissle.

According to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Yaum”, Jaisle fears that Gonçalves might receive a yellow card.

A yellow card would lead to Gonçalves missing the subsequent Roshen League match against Al-Nassr.
